Bonjour! (10 hours in Paris)
27 May
Paris for the day, £46 return who could say no?
So, on Wednesday I visited the city of loveeee, (Paris) for the first time. Yeah, I've been to France a couple times but never had the chance to spend some time in the wonderful capital. I went via Eurostar which was new experience for me since I usually travel by plane. I cannot stand long train journeys, so this was hard for me so i just slept for the whole duration. It took about 2h 15mins and finally we arrived to sunny Parihhh.
The night before I planned where we wanted to visit and since we were only there for about 10 hours I wanted to make sure we saw all the main attractions. Day travel passes for the Metro and Bus services were only €7 which was pretty good. This gave us the chance to travel via any transportation, any time, for 24hrs. We picked up a map and started exploring. Honestly, we became pro's by the end of the day lol.
Our first stop was the beautiful Sacre Coeur (A Roman Catholic church), I climbed 300 steps to see this gorgeous 360 view of Paris. Breathtaking. I also finally got the chance to see the famous Eiffel Tower situated in Champ De Mars. After a hundred selfies my phone died so we had to find somewhere to charge it up since we had like 5 hours left. After 20 mins we managed to find a cute cafe, had a bite to eat and charged up our phones.
We then went on and continued to explore, visiting the Arc de Triomphe , The Louvre (which is the biggest museum in the city) and Notre Dame. Stopped off for some dinner at The Frogburger, a tasty American diner, then headed back to Paris Gare Du Nord to catch our train home.
A beautiful city, well known for it's culture, art and fashion. So, i highly recommend visiting if you get a chance. I will definitely be going back for a little longer next time.
Take Care until next time, enjoy the photos
