Barcelonaaa

25 August

I managed to visit Barcelona finally, and what a beautiful city it is! Honestly, I fell in love.

I shared this new experience with two of my close friends, we laughed, explored, got drunk and had loads of fun! We stayed in a an area called, El Poblenou, very close to the city centre which made it so much easier to get around. Our hotel had a rooftop pool and terrace with city and beach views which were beauts. (see 1st pic)

Places I Visited
  • Parc De La Ciutadella (70 arces of greenery, such a beautiful sight). Loads of space for picnics and relaxing, boat riding and museums.
  • Barcelona Zoo (Consisting all my favourite animals such as Dolphins, Elephants and lions) It was also interesting to find out that the Barcelona Zoo was the home of the only known Albino Gorilla, Snowflake.
  • Barceloneta Beach (One of the longest beaches I've ever seen!) Sandy with clear waters.
  • La Rambla (Great for restaurants, bars and clubs) We headed down to a club called Boulevard Culture Club...great for bashment, HipHop and R'N'B
  • Arc De Triomf (The memorial arc in Barcelona) Surrounded by pretty palm trees. You would also find cyclists riding through the arc.
  • The Magic Fountain of Montjuic- (A spectacular display of colour, light, motion, music and water acrobatics!) So beautiful, must see if you're visiting Barcelona.
If you don't mind travelling by yourself around the city I would suggest getting a T1 ticket from any Metro station! It's like €9 and you can use it up to 10 times! Perfect if you want to explore the city centre, all the tourist attractions or just simple experience Barcelona's metro lines!

Enjoy the photos, until next time

xx
